This stunner is native to the rainforest of Western and Central Africa. They are known for their massive green leaves and have become extremely popular indoor plants. It is not considered the easiest house plant to care for, but it makes up for that with its stunning features.
These plants enjoy warm, humid environments, like a good amount of water and plenty of light. If you are unsure about where to put your tree, directly next to a window is a safe bet. They take time to adjust to their new location, so do not freak out if yours loses a leaf or two.

These plants are quite picky to take care of but so beautiful and rewarding to grow. I do not recommend that you choose this plant if you are a beginner unless you like a challenge every now and then.
