The super sexy rare cousin to the well-known Ficus elastica (Rubber Tree) the Ficus altissima has amazing green-to-yellow variegations and is a collector’s item. similar to their cousin, these plants handle neglect much better than most indoor plants and have become extremely popular over the last couple of years. This rubber plant will require pruning to maintain its shape.
Sturdy stems hold shiny glossy green, white and sometimes pink leaves that are wide and oval. These plants tolerate the lower humidity of indoor spaces. The most common error in caring for these plants is overwatering.
