From Order to Delivery

Just some info on how things work on our side, to keep you as informed as possible.

Your order will be shipped in the week that is announced on the the HOME page or when you enter your address a select a shipping Method.

We run our business on a week to week basis, and this is how it works:

Monday / Tuesday
We select stock for the week and prep the plants for shipping.  These are a prepping days, we prep all the plants. Wrap the soil, put them in plant sleeves etc. So that they are ready to be sent to their new homes!

Tuesday / Wednesday
We start the morning bright and early to start packing all of the beauties. We then load all of the shipments into the respective courier sites and request for them to collect the boxes. We ship all possible orders. We prioritize the Cape orders (Eastern, Western, and Northern Cape) since they take the longest to reach their destinations. However, we also ship orders to other provinces on Tuesdays.

Wednesday / Thursday / Friday
If there is some or other reason that we could not ship all orders on Tuesday, they will be shipped on Wednesday.

Why do we work this way?

Our shipping works this way to ensure that your plants are less likely to spend a weekend in the Courier depot.

More about our delivery process

Once your order has been shipped, you should receive an email with your tracking information on it.

It should take 3-4 days to reach you, however, if you are in an outlying area it could take up to 5 or 7 working days.

Due to our endeavor to keeping plants as fresh from the Green House as possible and to avoid unnecessary “Travel Shock” , there is a waiting period between placing an order and receiving it.

Our business is run this way to ensure that your plants are fresh and healthy. We do not like keeping stock with us for extended periods of time. So the stock we receive on Saturday or Sunday gets shipped in the very next week. And the cycle repeats every week, but this also means that we have limited stock with us and can only ship the orders that we have planned to ship.

We do hope you understand this because your support for our small business means a lot to us & we want to keep our customers happy!

We look forward to your order and to sending you happy lush plants!

**Terms & Conditions: Courier Services (PUDO & PARGO) for Indoor Plant Deliveries in South Africa

When selecting PUDO or Pargo as your courier service for online indoor plant purchases, please be aware of the following potential challenges:

1. Collection Time Constraints: PUDO lockers provide 36 hours for collection, while PARGO pickup points allow up to 7 days. Failure to collect within these periods may result in the return of your plants, potentially affecting their condition due to prolonged transit or storage.

2. Plant Condition During Transit: Indoor plants are sensitive to environmental factors such as temperature, light, and humidity. While PUDO and PARGO aim for reliable delivery (2-5 days for PARGO, 1-4 days for PUDO), delays or improper handling at pickup points or lockers may impact plant health.

3. Limited Accessibility in Remote Areas: Although PARGO offers over 4,000 pickup points and PUDO has 1,500+ lockers, customers in rural or underserved areas may face challenges accessing conveniently located collection points, requiring additional travel.

4. Locker and Pickup Point Limitations: PUDO and PARGO lockers are not suitable for oversized plants or pots exceeding 15kg.

5. Communication and Tracking: Both services provide SMS and email updates, but inconsistent notifications or technical issues may cause confusion about collection readiness. Always track your parcel via the provided tracking code.

6. Risk of Damage at Collection Points: Plants left at PARGO pickup points or PUDO lockers may be exposed to suboptimal conditions (e.g., heat or lack of light), which could affect their quality if not collected promptly.

We recommend inspecting your plants upon collection and reporting any issues immediately to ensure prompt resolution. By choosing PUDO or PARGO, you acknowledge these potential challenges and agree to collect your order within the specified timeframes to maintain the quality of your indoor plants.
